The Zone 4 Financial Assistance Fund was created and approved by the Zone 4 Executive Board on October 19, 2010. Our mission, like the IEA’s mission, is to provide equine related education and competition to middle and high school aged students. As our Zone and the national organization grows, we find that the very students we want to educate and engage cannot afford to participate. This fund has been established to assist those few students that have the promise, potential, and desire to go forward with the sport, but lack the financial support. Contact the Zone 4 Treasurer for a donation receipt.

The EQUUS Foundation and the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) are pleased to announce the establishment of the IEA Champion of Equine Service Scholarship to stimulate volunteerism and advocacy on behalf of horses and the people who benefit from the horse.’s unique ability to empower, teach and heal.
Details coming soon!

The IEA Zone 4 Senior Scholarship is open to 12th grade full-time matriculated students who are attending High Schools located in Zone 4 or home-schooled students who are considered a Senior in High School. They should also be members of the IEA for the school year 2011-2012 who are continuing their education at an institution of higher learning in the Fall of 2012.
Three scholarships will be awarded in 2012. The scholarships, $1500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place, and $500 for third, will be awarded based on three part essays written by each applicant.
